The variety of prints we see each year when spring rolls around might be different each year, but after months of darker neutrals in our winter wardrobe we are definitely always ready to spice it up with some patterns. This season we are seeing a huge amount of colourful bright prints from neon stripes and tie dye to fun vintage inspired florals. A lot of these are very easy to incorporate into your spring wardrobe, you might even already have them in your closet. But when it comes to our prints this spring, just think the bigger and brighter the better.

Vintage Florals

The floral print has probably never been truly out of fashion. Each year for spring/summer we all love to pull out our favourite floral dresses that brighten up our days. But this year we are seeing a lot of vintage 80’s inspired florals combined with the big voluminous silhouettes we are seeing everywhere. This is an easy trend to take on with a summery floral top or a dreamy printed dress and you have got an instant summer outfit.

Tie Dye

Following on from last year's tie dye craze, the tie dye prints are still seen in a lot of collections around the world. With the different colourful tie dye styles and pastel shades, this print trend is a great one to add a fun, casual vivid print to any spring/summer outfit. From a twist tie dye tee to faded tie dye jeans, this is a great print to style for your daytime looks.

Gingham/Checks

This is another classic print that we do see season after season. This season we are seeing gingham print more and more that is a great alternative to the larger scale pattern checks. From maxi dresses to gingham trousers, this is a great way to add print to your wardrobe if you aren’t as into the big florals or colourful tie dye. This can be a subtle pattern to style with any look.

Stripes

Stripes is another great example of a print that truly never goes out of style, so buying this trendy pattern is truly an investment that can last you for years to come. This season with the neon colour trend, we are seeing brighter than ever stripe combinations. From neon stripe jumpers to bright green long sleeved tees, the options are endless.

Print Mix

Mixing your prints is a big trend this season. While a lot of the time we might shy away from mixing different patterns and colours, this is definitely the time to make bold choices with our combinations. From mix florals with a simpler pattern to mixing dark and light colours, this is a trend that will ensure our spring outfits are filled with colours and interesting detail. Style a mixed print dress with simple trainers or mix your printed knit over a bright patterned skirt for the ultimate print mix combination.
