Even though we had all hoped for some sunny clear skies and warm weather, we haven’t gotten the kickstart to the spring/summer season that we had dreamed of. With the weather being unpredictable and running the risk of getting caught in the rain during our days out it’s good to be prepared to ensure you look and feel your best without getting drenched. Don’t worry, we have got you covered! Here are a few of our favourite rainy day outfit ideas that will keep you dry while looking stylish for your spring days out.

Mixing and matching prints and colours is a great way to brighten up a rainy grey day. K-Way’s rain jackets are one of our favourite styles to go for when we need a bit of a pick me up for our rainy day outfit. The jackets are available in a fun neon pink, yellow and red and sure to add a pop of colour to your outfit. Try styling the casual jacket with your favourite jeans and a button down to dress it up a bit. Finish the look with some trainers to keep your feet comfortable in style.

If you’re as excited for summer outfits as we are and can’t help but to pull out your favourite summer dresses even on a rainy day, it’s always a great idea to layer it with a raincoat and add some boots to fight off the rain. Style your favourite summer dress with a matching Flotte jacket and some ankle boots from Ganni. Add a thin knit if you need to stay extra warm. This outfit is guaranteed to add a bit of brightness to your rainy days while staying dry.

When the weather is still colder and you’re looking for a bit more warmth, opt for a stylish quilted coat that is nice and light for the spring weather, but will keep you warm in the wind and rain. Ganni’s quilted coat is very on trend this season with it’s signature Ganni peter pan collar and a boxy oversized silhouette. Style the jacket with green joggers and a white blouse and trainers for a simple look for any rainy day event.

Adding light layers is a good way to style any rainy day look to ensure you stay warm in the wet and cold. Try styling a thin knit with high waisted printed trousers to add a bit of dimension to the look. Any hooded jacket is a good option for a rainy day. Try a different style with a pullover jacket from Bellerose to add a pop of green. And as always, you can’t go wrong with some classic white trainers, rain or shine.
