As we’re sure you have seen over our Instagram last week (and if you haven’t, get following @shopatanna), our brand-spanking-new shop opened its doors for the first time in Bury St Edmunds on Friday. We’ve officially moved!

After spending the last few years at Hatter Street, our new store welcomed customers at new location 12 Abbeygate Street with glasses of fizz and nibbles.

Personalized biscuits accompanied glasses of champagne!

The reason for the move? Anna said it “just felt right, I think a lot of people may have missed us (in Hatter Street) so when this property became available, it made sense to move to what I think is one of the best high streets in Suffolk."

“Our aim is to try and buck the trend in terms of what is going on with the high street… Big stores may be closing, but not because people aren’t spending, I think it’s because habits are changing. Customers want to feel special - to feel looked after and they want the best service - and we pride ourselves on our customer service.”

After a successful evening in Primrose Hill last week with designer, Charlotte Simone, Anna hopes to continue to do pop-ups with local fashion brands in the new store. "I never say no to anybody when it comes to fashion. Anyone can always get in touch and come and show me one of their collections. The plan is to regularly showcase talented local designers in Bury.", she added.
