Style Notes: Tania Hergenhahn

If there's anything we learnt from 2018 it's that the power of Instagram can never be underestimated! We now live in a time where everything is so easily accessible or a mere two clicks away. As an industry which just seems to always be on the up, we've taken it upon us to join in on the hype. Enter @taniahergenhahn

Tania, a content creator with a love of all things fashion, travel and food, paid us a visit in Primrose Hill and shopped her fave styles from our SS19 collections which have dropped in our stores so far. We caught up with Tania on her style inspirations and fashion words of wisdom...

What are your favourite brands at ANNA?
Bella Freud, Isabel Marant Etoile, Rag & Bone, Munthe. You have a great selection guys, I like most of your brands!

What's your favourite trend at the moment?
Animal prints - I just can't get enough of them! Mix, match and clash. I love them all.

What's the best thing about shopping in independent boutiques?
They have a curated selection of brands which work well together. In other words - they do all the work for you! It's really cool actually, and every person in the store is so helpful and passionate about every brand - it makes the whole shopping experience that much more fun!

Who's your favourite designer?
I can't really name one as one season's collection can be SO different to another. Like Céline for example, it was so amazing with Phoebe Philo - I am not huge fan now, though. At the moment I like Dior, Balenciaga, Gucci, Chloe - the list goes on!

What's your best style advice and who's your style icon?
Never religiously follow trends! Always wear what suits you. If some trends aren't your thing, don't feel pressured to follow them, at the end of the day it's YOUR style.
I wouldn't say I have one singular style icon, it changes all the time. But there are always girls on Instagram whose style I really like and can get inspo from - Alexa Chung, Leandra Medine (the author of 'Man Repeller'), Miroslava Duma, Jelena Permonova. Oh there are so many!

What's your favourite restaurant by our Primrose Hill store?
Lemonia is really fun and I absolutely love The Engineer!
