Last weekend saw the start of fashion trade show Scoop International, where Anna and some of the team headed to showcase their Primrose Park London collections as well as have a browse of existing and new brands to introduce for SS20! After a hectic three days, the show (held at the Saatchi Gallery on King’s Road) came to a close - but alas, we have an insider sneak peak of what’s to come for SS20 just for you...
PRIMROSE PARK LONDON
Primrose Park London's SS20 collection takes print influences from nature; more specifically, both classic French and English gardens as well as the seaside. Cult styles sat alongside new shapes, with updates to the much loved leopard and snake prints and print clashes which have earned the brand such a loyal following.
OSSIE CLARK x PRIMROSE PARK LONDON
Fusing Ossie Clark's iconic shapes with Primrose Park London's exclusive prints, this is the second collaboration between the two designers. These pieces capture the essence of Ossie Clark's finest staples, defining the free spirited era of the late ‘60s onto the ‘70s, which were known for their wide fluted sleeves, long flowing skirts, and ethereal patterns and prints to create flattering, overtly feminine silhouettes.
CHARLOTTE SIMONE
At ANNA, we love all of our brands, but some labels make a frisson of excitement ripple through the shop - one of which being the lovely Charlotte Simone. Her SS20 capsule nods to the 90's with fabulous suede jackets with shaggy faux fur in a range of candy-like colours which look good enough to eat! We are also excited to work with this designer later in the year as we host an event together when her collection drops in our stores in November!
SAM EDELMAN
Stocked for many seasons at ANNA, Sam Edelman’s SS20 collection ranged from slide on leather mules to chunky trainers which we’ve known to come and love since the summer of last year. Defining laid-back luxury and timeless American style, expect all your favourites revamped with textured animal printed leather and classic hues.
NEW BRAND: EDWARD MONGZAR
We are so excited to welcome new brand, Edward Mongzar, to ANNA for SS20! The designer uses a marbling technique for his pieces; the gentle swirls of the marbling juxtaposed with the unpredictability of the dye represent his belief that womenswear should be soft and gentle, as well as freeing and liberating. We're not one for wishing time away but... if it means we'll be able to wear any of Edward's pieces, next year can't come quick enough!
