If you are anything like us, this rainy autumn weather has left you feeling a bit uninspired when it comes to the fashion choices you make. Out with the fun colourful summer dresses and in with the boots and jackets that help us get through the cold and rain. But why not try to brighten up your rainy day outfits with some fun prints and new styles? Here we have styled a few looks that are easy to throw on to add some brilliance to these gloomy autumn days.

Investing in a great stylish raincoat is definitely a necessity for the autumn/winter seasons, especially if you live in a rainy country like the UK. Sometimes it’s difficult to find one that not only keeps you protected from the elements but is also nice to look at. This navy blue raincoat from Weekend Max Mara is a great staple jacket to take you from your rainy morning dog walk straight to the office in style. Match yours with a soft pink top and some Piazza Sempione cropped trousers. And don’t forget the on trend boho bag from Anya Hindmarch to complete your simple yet cute rainy look.

When you are looking for some simple comfort to run some errands or go pick up the kids from school, this next outfit is a great way to look put together while keeping things simple. The classic lace up ankle boots from Selected Femme are a great pair to style with many different outfits for a rainy day. Here we’ve combined them with some simple Rag & Bone jeans, American Vintage hoodie and a jacket from Five to add a bit of edge to the outfit.

Flotte is one of our newest brands and we are already obsessed. Not only are their raincoats sustainable, but they come in different vibrant colours and patterns. This anorak shape jacket in the colour Iceberg is a lovely way to add a lighter colour to switch up the dark uniform days. Layer yours over a lightweight roll neck from American Vintage and add some gorgeous leather trousers from Isabel Marant Etoile. Finish off the look with some white trainers and a slouchy leather tote to stay on trend this season.

To add a pop of colour to your outfit try one of the Primrose Park Sandy Open Shirts that come in different vibrant colours and prints. This flora red shirt will bring some brightness to your day and is easy to pair with different trousers and skirts. Of course some classic dark wash jeans are a must-have item for the autumn season and these DL 1961 jeans are a universally flattering shape. Stay warm and keep the rain away with a comfy puffer hood on the Loreak sweat and finish off the look with a bit of sparkle on the Golden Goose trainers.

Adding in prints is a great way to spice up otherwise neutral outfits. This Flotte camo raincoat is a great lightweight option to keep you dry from the rain. It also transforms into a backpack in case the weather changes and you no longer need to hide from the rain. Layer the camo print coat over a simple blue shirt from Loreak with some gorgeous tailored trousers. Of course, a timeless rainy day look is easy to complete with some classic Chelsea boots, like these from Selected Femme.
