As Spring rolls in we find ourselves having to constantly adapt to our weather conditions. We are so itching to throw on our new season pieces, especially after the tease of a few days of sun… but our heads are telling us no, wrap up, just wait a little longer! Alas, the wait is over! There is a way of layering your coveted new season pieces and still look as stylish as ever. Here’s a few suggestions of how to dress for now…

Come rain or shine, daytime silk will always have a special place in our hearts. A complete hit on the SS19 runways, it appears that most designers share our opinion! With the ability to completely elevate your everyday basics, a silk skirt is one of the modern day wardrobe staples which won’t let you down. Here Anna layers her Rixo skirt with a complementing Isabel Marant jumper and Golden Goose trainers, finishing the look with a Muun bag for all your daily essentials!

For us at ANNA, one of the best time-tested staples is a trusty leather jacket - it is the wardrobe piece which proves that great style is ageless. It’s also the ultimate style chameleon, pulling relaxed looks together as quickly as it plays down formal pieces. The perfect layering piece for spring, we love the pastel hue of this Selected Femme version. Anna teams hers with Rag & Bone’s luxe ‘Ryan’ joggers and balances the sporty feel with a Munthe ‘Aze’ top, finishing the look with a chic Munthe ‘Afternoon’ crossbody and Air & Grace sneakers.

A lesson in daytime dressing: add a complementing cardigan! Cardis have become such a trusty companion this season and the staple which solves the most problems in this weather. They have the ability to dress down romantic separates without taking away their shine - a complete winner! Anna layers her ‘Alice’ cardigan over her Munthe ‘Antonella’ dress, teamed with Grenson’s ‘Nanette’ boots and finished with Munthe’s ‘Aftermath’ tote and Anna Beck jewellery (call to buy).
