With Glastonbury kicking off the UK festival season on Wednesday, there’s no better time than the present to hit refresh on your summertime wardrobe. At ANNA, we never tire of sourcing outfit inspiration for such events. So whether you’re boogying the night away at Glasto, soaking up culture at Port Eliot or channeling your inner yogi at Wilderness, we have the perfect get-up just for you...

GLASTONBURY, 26 – 30 June

Definitely one to tick off the bucket list, Glastonbury Festival plays host to 177,000 festival-goers and with an array of top world-renowned performers, quirky activities and foodie heaven, it’s definitely not one to be missed. It’s hard to pinpoint what’s best to do as there is so much going on, but if in doubt - go for a stroll! There’s bound to be something that floats your boat. Top of our agenda for this year is seeing the sun rise at stone circle, boogying the night away at Shang Ri La and seeing the ‘legend slot’ perform at the Pyramid stage (it’s Kylie this year FYI). Oh and how could we forget, grab a photo with your mates at the Hollywood-style Glastonbury letters - they have Instagram-perfect-backdrop written all over them.

Now, for your dress code at Glasto more is definitely more; think lots of glitter, plaited hair, floaty dresses and perhaps most importantly - wellies and waterproofs! After all, this festival is infamous for its wet weather conditions and although you may like pina coladas, in this instance you certainly won’t want to get caught in the rain. For festival-ready get up, we’ve selected Munthe’s ‘Dynamite’ dress which has been cinched in at the waist with Baum und Pferdgarten’s belt and teamed with Grenson’s hiking boots and Citizens of Humanity’s oversized denim jacket for when the weather cools.

PORT ELIOT - 25th - 28th July
For a classier affair, Port Eliot Festival soars high on our list of festivals not to be missed this summer. Hosted at the Port Eliot Estate in Cornwall, it is not short of fun-filled activities to be enjoyed by you and your family. Or, if you fancy a romantic weekend - you can even book dates with your loved one on the festival’s bespoke ‘Secret Date Club’ scheme. Relax and soak up the Cornish countryside in their boutique camping just a few minutes’ walk from all the action, enjoy a wood-fired supper with 100 other guests or unwind in Kernow Springs (Cornwall’s roaming eco spa) - whatever you fancy, make sure to do it in style. High on our agenda will be the talks by founders of Preen By Thornton Bregazzi and Temperley London on all things fashion!

So, with some pretty chic events on the agenda, this now begs the question - what on earth does one pack? You may want to keep your glitter to one side for this festival, and instead welcome versatile summery pieces with a touch of class. We recommend Essentiel Antwerp’s ‘Sharkeisha’ dress - it has the perfect mix of festival-ready attire with an elegant twist. You cannot go wrong with rag & bone’s aptly named ‘Elliot’ bag to fit all your festival essentials and finish the look with glitzy Golden Goose sneakers.

WILDERNESS - 1 – 4 Aug
After a more quirky, colourful vibe? Look no further than Wilderness to fulfill all your deepest festival desires. Situated in the heart of Oxfordshire’s Cornbury Park, there is everything from music to yoga sessions, comedy cricket matches to river boating, hot tubs and spas - you’re bound to forget all about your woes of working life. High on our lust list this August, we won’t miss the banquets hosted here by Michelin-starred chefs. Actual foodie heaven.

As far as dress code goes at Wilderness the general consensus is to wear whatever you want, although most festival-goers tend to channel their inner hippie chic; think sequin-covered garments, dream catchers, fedora hats covered in feathers, you get the drift. We’ve teamed LNA’s tie dye top with Selected Femme’s ‘Jenner’ jeans (only £69 might we add!) and lots of boho jewels like Soru’s earrings and Nahua’s beaded crossbody bag. Finish the look with one of Sissel Edelbo’s kimonos (call to buy) crafted from upcycled saris and totally nailing bohemian chic.
