Chunky knitwear has a firm position at the top of our lust list this season at ANNA. Versatile and comfortable, it can also be just as stylish as the aforementioned. Slowly overtaking your go-to jacket, blazer or even coat option, the humble chunky knit has the potential to be your new outerwear saviour this season. With the ability to dress down silk midis for daytime dressing and smarten up wide leg pants, we bet your wardrobe will be full of them come the midst of winter - we know ours will be! Here's how we're wearing ours.

OVERSIZED WITH A SILK MIDI
It might feel a little sloppy at first, but wearing a chunky knit teamed with your loveliest floral midi is the perfect way to hit refresh this winter. We’ve teamed Second Female’s Nord knit with Rixo’s psychedelic floral silk skirt and Sam Edelman’s western ankle boots. The easiest way to transform silk into a daytime fabric is by throwing on an oversized, chunky knit. Try half tucking the knit up at the front as to not lose your waist definition.

CARDIGAN WITH A DRESS
A great way to make transeasonal dresses winter-appropriate? The addition of a chunky knit cardi! Clash or match, we’re not fussed when it comes to pulling off this look! Here we’ve teamed Mes Demoiselles’ Siegfried cardi with their silk midi slip dress, an oversized cardi is one of those rare fashion items that has the ability to make you feel comfortable and cosy, but still look super-stylish!

ROLL NECK WITH A WIDE LEG PANT
Essential to any autumn winter wardrobe: the humble roll neck. Our favourite this season at ANNA is new brand Loreak’s Ene knit, and with it being that time of year when you can still wear a roll neck and rock a pair of killer shades - this knitted saviour is your best friend. Team yours with a relaxed corduroy wide leg trouser like Second Female's Tokia trousers. Add sneakers for the finishing touch and your look is perfect for autumnal escapades around the city.
